Pilotage in bad weather Cork Harbour February 2021

The Roches Point lighthouse recorded 50kt winds on the 13th as the Cosco bulk carrier passed, and the Cork wave buoy 2nm off the harbor entrance recorded waves up to 6.7m at that time. Despite the difficult sea situation, the pilot boat was able to dock with the guide and disembark safely. Then on the 15th conditions became moderate, the Gramaldi car transporter was able to take off and again we caught it nicely with the drone. To respect the port captains and pilot ship crews in keeping the port operational and in the movement of ships in such bad sea and weather conditions.
